Voici donc un tuto fait par mes soins pour aider les cosplayeuses qui sont aussi perdues que moi je l'étais en commençant cette jupe.

This is the hardest part of this costume and unfortunately there isn't enough informations about voluminous balloons skirts online.
Here is a tutorial made by me to help cosplayers who are as lost as I was in the beginning of this skirt.
1 : Start by taking the dimensions

Waist x2 and skirt length x2 (R)
r = waist / 2π
Total perimeter = (r + R) x 2π
2 : Base = small waist / 8

Great base = total perimeter / 8
Draw all on a paper pattern. Then cut 8 pieces of tissue and 8 pieces of lining
3 : Put together the 8 pieces of fabric together and do the same for the lining. At this stage, so we great circles 2.
4 : Sew the lining to the tissue inside out and back. Once finished, you have a skirt length that was initially chosen.
5: Make first bottom hem of the skirt. Think to leave a 6-7 cm space between the bottom and top pleats that give the effect of small ruffles. Also make the gathers at the waist.
6 : The skirt is still very long. Now take sections of the dress and go up to size by pinning all. It will give all the wrinkled appearance of the dress and especially to give the ball indeed!
7 : Do not forget to make a slot to get out of the skirt ^ ^ this will be the future location of the zipper. Once the position of the folds is suitable, to fix the whole machine with a rectangular strip.
